ROSE MAY is a hip-hop, rap and R'n'B artist who has already raised attention as a songwriter and as a singer. She started composing songs at the age of 12, released her first single in 2020 under the title Life-Infected, then appeared as a singer-songwriter on the Toldyuuso album titled 'SESSION_01' in the fall of 2023 – with BÖBE, P.Y.F.U. and Brenka - among others. Together with Raul, they had the honor of composing the Anthem of the 2024 Chess Olympiad, which was titled Trojan War. The same year, she debuted her first self-produced album, called 'ROSE MAY', followed by her next LP called Born Fallen in early 2025.
Several Hungarian songwriters and performers inspire her when she writes her songs, but she still writes most of the lyrics in English, because she feels she can express herself better as the English language is more self-identifying for her. ROSE MAY has already performed at the Akvárium as Noira's support, as well as at A38 (on Budapest Showcase Hub festival), but also had a great success at the W Budapest Hotel's New Year's Eve party, which also kicked off her very active year 2025.
